Description
Neutrals and darker florals can add inspiration to many decorating schemes. Here is a shimmering grey-toned black and white version of Fantasy Garden. This looks almost metallic and would look especially lovely if you order your print on metal or acrylic. The original image had an iridescence and was created in multiple steps. I took a photograph of fuschia flowers against a contrasting background, then digitally processed it and printed it, then 3 daisy blooms were laid on the print, photographed and reprocessed to create this lovely floral image with the illusion of a butterfly in the upper left. Daisies are simple yet sophisticated examples of the floral world. Daisies, or bellis parensis, from the asteraceae family, are common, but convey a lovely cheer and last long in arrangements. Daisy is derived from daes age, an Anglo-Saxon term meaning day's eye.
