Fish No More, My Lady. Shipwrecks are always such sad sights. I cannot help wonder what dreams and lives were ruined. This shipwreck of a fishing trawler was tragically stranded on a reef in Charlotte Harbor, Florida, badly mauled by Hurricane Irma. We passed it near Bokeelia, off Pine Island. The rumor we heard was that it had already been aground there and could not be taken in for repairs before Hurricane Irma arrived. This means a tragic loss of livelihood for some family or families of fishermen. I emphasized my sadness with the darker vintage filter effect. The name of the boat was apparently something like Salty Lady. Please let me know if you know anything more about this boat's history. A month later, the boat was broken in pieces and beyond salvaging.
