We were invited to dine with a gracious retired couple from New York, who put a single flower in a glass flower (hibiscus holders) at each place setting. I think I admired them overly much; I got them for Christmas! I photographed this still life trio of daisies on a black background to share with you. Daisies are simple yet sophisticated and are some of the most beautiful little flowers in the floral world. Daisies, or bellis parensis, from the asteraceae family, are common and simple, but convey a lovely cheer and are long lasting in arrangements.
