Barbie, this is an absolutely hilarious and awesome find, what a treasure! :-) Love the humor and memorable speed limit. Odd numbers and fractions can certainly have a lasting impression, as aptly demonstrated here. Thank you for bringing a much needed serving of wholesome laughter and merriment to the art world with this splendid image. A definitely favorite for sure! F/L

Then I realized... we are OLD folks... So is this to remind us to "get a move on?"
Barbie Corbett-Newmin replied:
Gotta keep moving but don't overdo! Thanks for your visits and enjoyable repartee!

This is too much fun... I am debating what effect it would have if I had a print somewhere in our home... Delightful..
Connie Handscomb
:))) ... {actually, we need more of these where I live!}
Barbie Corbett-Newmin replied:
They are cute but speed bumps are more annoying...maybe even more effective! ;)

Very cute! I guess the unusual number is intended to actually register in the viewer's mind. Its kinda like someone who schedules a meeting for 9:37, for example. But I love not only the 17 part, but especially the 1/2 part. Fun!! v

Love this, Barbie. So quirky. The bottom sign is funny too. Is "caution" a command or does it merely need a comma between the two words? "Caution all pedestrians to (do what?)." Apparently from the same source that gave us "P 1/2 Street" in Galveston, Texas. vf

Barbie Corbett-Newmin replied:
I only saw this once-- in a senior neighborhood with a sense of humor. Thanks for visiting, smiling and supporting, Rima!
