Description
About 1,500 white pelicans migrate to Florida from October through March. Snowbirds!
Many arrive from northern Idaho, Utah, Minnesota and Canada, to enjoy a warmer winter. Their migrations are triggered by melting and freezing of fresh water in their northern lake habitats.

Pelicans are just some of the most interesting birds! You can't watch and not chuckle at their antics....to me, it's like they feel they are the only one around. Promoting in Birds Thread in the 200 Club. FLTw
