Description

This pretty pink Gerbera daisy plant is shown with a floating background effect for more depth. It has pretty pink petals with white tips and an extremely fluffy center. I shot this hybrid in a Florida garden. There are many varieties of daisies, or bellis parensis, from the asteraceae family in the floral world. All bring color and a lovely cheer. They are long-lasting in arrangements. The word daisy comes from daes age, an Anglo-Saxon term meaning day's eye.
