Description

Basket of Violets is a photo of a little pot of violets. I added a circular green basket weave edge on an indigo background. It's ideal for tshirts and other clothing items I get lots of compliments on my comfy blue tank top! A wonderful sticker, pillows or other fabric gift items. Specify the inside message when ordering cards.
These were the first 3 blooms on this plant.
African violets are still the most common indoor house plant, adorning tabletops and windowsills. It is still “America’s Favorite Houseplant,” according to The African Violet Society of America (AVSA). Saintpaulia is a genus of herbaceous perennial flowering plants in the family Gesneriaceae, native to Tanzania and Kenya in eastern tropical Africa.
In the Victorian Language of Flowers violets mean modesty. Blue violets mean devotion. Violets are one of the birth flowers for February.
