Description
Pine Island Dock at low tide and sunset. I was surprised at the unusual purplish color of the mud. It's nicely accented by the turquoise dock rails and their reflection.
Pine Island, an affordable southern USA tourist destination, great for fishing, food, art galleries and live music, is the largest and funkiest island in Florida. It's in Lee County, on the Gulf of Mexico coast in southwest Florida. The Intracoastal Waterway passes through Pine Island Sound just west of the island.
