Vintage Studebaker in Sepia

Description
The actual paint job on this classic car is yellow. I think the sepia effect adds to its vintage gravitas. This historic Studebaker is in Bernardo Eggers' Auto Museum Moncopulli in the lake region of Osorno. Studebakers (1852-1966) were the first autos to capture Eggers' heart with a 1961 Hawk. Eggers founded Auto Museum Moncopulli, the first auto museum in Chile, in 1995. More than 50 Studebakers are displayed, the largest collection outside the USA, along with other marques and antiques. Due to the tightly packed collection, the roof trusses, and the reflections, it is enormously difficult to get a real "glamor shot" of any one model. This end result took hours of digital retouching. I believe this is a 1952 Studebaker bullet nose. Perhaps designed by Exner. Please post a comment if you know for sure.

A very nice composition of one of the famous Studebaker line. I lived near the museum in South Bend, Indiana for years, where the originals were built. Congrats! F/L

Barbie, great close up with beautiful processing. I always enjoy seeing Studebakers, can you believe that they are in my family tree? f/l

My grandfather owned a Studebaker just like this. Studebaker was ahead of its time in design!
