This underwater photograph of a lovely threadfin butterflyfish or Chaetodon auriga was taken while snorkeling in the beautiful blue waters of the lagoon off shore from the tropical French Polynesian island of Bora Bora in the South Pacific. This dream cruise vacation was my first chance to try underwater photography!
