Description
In these relatively unknown ancient Roman ruins, one gets a tiny sense of what the Roman Empire accomplished. This was a flourishing trading outpost complex and settlement north of Rome, Italy, where goods once traveled by ship along the Tiber River, or, by land, on the Via Flaminium. One wonders what the stones on this abandoned historic riverside site could tell us of their history as we pass through these sunlit old arches. Who went there?
