This was steps from the main waterfall in the area, the famous Waterfall of the Gods. When you like the scenery on the side as well or better than the main attraction....you must be in beautiful, scenic Iceland. Goðafoss is in the Bárðardalur district of the Northeastern Region and is sometimes referred to as the Niagara Falls of Iceland.
