Description
Two nostalgic neon pieces of vintage roadside Americana. The Pegasus logo first appeared on Mobilgas products during 1911; in 1931, with the forming of Socony-Vacuum, it was officially adopted as a trademark. The flying horse was first colored red by an artist at the Mobil Sekiyu division in Japan. The horse flying from right to left indicates early '30s or prior. He is flying over an early Dodge sign at the Deer Park Winery and Auto Museum. Artist recommendation: Enjoy it in a marsala or red frame with a cream mat. Ideal for a man cave, office, dealership or garage.
