Description
Late at night on the busy streets of Fort Myers, Florida this classic 1930s vintage La Salle motorcar lingers as a life-sized ad for Capone's restaurant, LaSalle was a brand of automobiles manufactured and marketed by General Motors' Cadillac division from 1927 through 1940. Alfred P. Sloan developed the LaSalle and certain other General Motors' marques in order to fill pricing points in the General Motors product portfolio. Sloan created LaSalle as a companion marque for Cadillac. LaSalles were manufactured by Cadillac, but priced lower than Cadillac-branded automobiles, and marketed as second-most prestigious marque in the General Motors portfolio.
Like Cadillac, the LaSalle brand name was based on a French explorer, Rene-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle.

Nice! Such personality - inspiration for the next Cars movie character! I love the different colors of light dividing the car, great shot!

Thank you. I agree that the drama of different light on either side made it more interesting!
