This spotlit mosaic globe tops off a fountain on India Street in Little Italy, a neighborhood in San Diego, California, This beautiful fountain at the center of The Plaza Basilone is a memorial to WWII Medal of Honor recipient Marine Gunnery Sergeant John Basilone. In my opinion it is prettiest at night.
