Fantastic or fantabulous! Two FanTastic Floral Arrangements on a table top showcase Chinese flower arranging artistry using fan palm fronds, yellow flowers and baby pineapples symbolizing hospitality in a hotel. As seen on a 2008 trip to China. In feng shui, pairs constitute the concept of double goodness. We also detect the influence of Ikebana ("arranging flowers" or "making flowers alive"), the Japanese art of flower arrangement. Did you know? The Ikebana tradition dates to the 7th century when floral offerings were made at altars. Later, they were displayed in the tokonoma (alcove) of a home.
