Judging by the dummy torso form in the open window, maybe our neighbor in Reykjavik, Iceland worked as a seamstress?

Barbie, I've been trying to figure out why this image has such appeal to me. The starkness and simplicity is lovely, of course, but there's something else. Like maybe the dummy could be a metaphor for a person who is "confined" and/or is unwilling/unable to confront reality. Whatever it is, I love it! l/f/po
