Description
Five Easy Pieces? This expresses my opinion re the US making a 5 for 1 Bergdahl swap: no one with the brains to play chess would trade five important players for a pawn that will be lost anyway. Bowe Robert Bergdahl (born March 28, 1986) is a United States Army soldier who had been held captive by Taliban-aligned Haqqani network in Afghanistan from June 2009 until his release in May 2014. The circumstances under which Bergdahl went missing and how he was captured became the subject of a controversial major political dispute. Bergdahl was released on May 31, 2014, as part of a prisoner exchange for five Taliban members who were being held at the detention center at Guantanamo Bay. Finally the deserter faces court martial. I wonder what those Taliban members are doing now to promote peace?

Broken Soldier
Couldn't agree more. Tactical brilliance!! Trade 5 generals (planners, trainers, initiators) for a deserter in order to bring him home and Courts Martial him. He got his brothers killed looking for him and now I wonder how many will die through the efforts of these Tali we returned to the battlefield. Liked your Charlie Ebdo tribute also (I did a couple myself.) Je Suise Charlie!

Barbie, as a vet I understand but disagree. Bergdahl should never have been there. The blame belongs all on the man who sent him there. The way to solve the country's military problems is the Rule of Holes. Stop digging. l, f, WHAT?
